MycoAndCo is Ann Arbor's highest-rated psilocybin dispensary, located at 2007 S State St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. We specialize in magic mushrooms, mushroom edibles, microdose capsules, and functional mushroom products. We are open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and serve customers 21 and older with shipping and free in-store pickup.
Where can I buy magic mushrooms in Ann Arbor?
MycoAndCo is a dedicated psilocybin dispensary in Ann Arbor, Michigan at 2007 S State St. We carry the largest selection of dried magic mushrooms, mushroom chocolates, gummies, capsules, and drinks in the Ann Arbor area. Walk-ins are welcome during our daily hours of 10 AM to 9 PM. No appointment needed — just bring a valid ID showing you are 21 or older.
Is psilocybin legal in Ann Arbor, Michigan?
Not exactly — it is decriminalized at the local level. In September 2020, Ann Arbor became one of the first cities in the United States to deprioritize enforcement against entheogenic plants and fungi, including psilocybin mushrooms. City Council Resolution R-20-362 made the investigation and arrest of individuals for planting, cultivating, purchasing, transporting, distributing, engaging in practices with, or possessing entheogenic plants and fungi the lowest law enforcement priority in the City of Ann Arbor. MycoAndCo operates in Ann Arbor under that local enforcement policy. Psilocybin remains a Schedule I controlled substance under federal law and is not legalized under Michigan state law; the resolution deprioritizes local enforcement only.
Are magic mushrooms legal in Michigan?
Magic mushrooms are not decriminalized statewide in Michigan, but several Michigan cities have made enforcement around entheogenic plants and fungi their lowest law-enforcement priority. Ann Arbor led the way in September 2020 (City Council Resolution R-20-362), and Washtenaw County, Detroit, Ferndale, and Hazel Park have since adopted similar local measures. MycoAndCo is located in Ann Arbor, where these local protections apply. Because the rules vary by city, customers visiting from elsewhere in Michigan — or from Ohio and Indiana — should review their own local laws.
What types of mushroom products does MycoAndCo sell?
MycoAndCo carries a wide range of psilocybin and functional mushroom products including: dried magic mushrooms (over 20 strains), mushroom chocolate bars, psilocybin gummies, mushroom capsules and microdose tablets, mushroom-infused drinks and teas, functional mushrooms (lion's mane, reishi, cordyceps, chaga), branded clothing and apparel, and accessories like precision scales and storage.
How much do magic mushrooms cost at MycoAndCo?
Dried magic mushrooms typically range from $25 to $50 for a 3.5g eighth, with ounce pricing from $150 to $325 depending on the strain. Mushroom chocolate bars start around $30, gummies around $25, and microdose capsules vary by count and dosage. MycoAndCo Rewards members earn points toward free products on every purchase.
What are the best mushroom strains for beginners?
Popular beginner-friendly strains at MycoAndCo include Golden Teacher, known for a gentle and introspective character, and White Billy, which offers a smooth, forgiving experience for first-timers. Our staff can help choose the right strain and amount based on your experience level. We also carry microdose capsules for a low-dose approach.
What is microdosing and do you carry microdose products?
Microdosing involves taking very small amounts of psilocybin — typically 50mg to 250mg — on a regular schedule. Many people microdose for focus, creativity, mood support, and general wellness. MycoAndCo carries microdose capsules and tablets with precise, consistent dosing, including single-ingredient psilocybin and functional mushroom blends with lion's mane, reishi, or other adaptogens.
What is the difference between a microdose and a macrodose?
A microdose is a sub-perceptual amount of psilocybin — typically 50mg to 250mg (0.05g–0.25g) of dried mushrooms or an equivalent capsule. At this dose you should NOT feel intoxicated, hallucinate, or have any classic psychedelic effects — instead, people report subtle improvements in mood, focus, creativity, and energy. Microdoses are usually taken on a schedule (every 2nd or 3rd day) over several weeks.
A macrodose is a perceptual or full psychedelic dose — typically 1g to 3.5g+ of dried mushrooms (or the chocolate/gummy equivalent). At this range you WILL feel altered: visual changes, emotional shifts, time distortion, deep introspection, and at higher doses, full psychedelic effects. Macrodoses are taken occasionally with intention, in a safe setting, with plenty of time set aside (6–8 hours).
General guidance: 0.05g–0.25g = microdose · 0.25g–1g = mini/museum dose (light) · 1g–2g = moderate · 2g–3.5g = strong · 3.5g+ = very strong (experienced users only). Sensitivity varies by person and strain — always start low. Ask our staff in-store for a personalized recommendation.

What is the difference between mushroom edibles and dried mushrooms?
Dried mushrooms are the traditional whole mushroom fruit, offering the most flexibility for self-dosing. Mushroom edibles — including chocolates, gummies, and drinks — offer pre-measured doses in convenient, tasty formats. Both formats are equally effective; the main difference is convenience and personal preference. MycoAndCo carries both.

No prescription, medical card, or referral is needed. MycoAndCo is open to all adults aged 21 and older. Simply visit our Ann Arbor location at 2007 S State St with a valid government-issued photo ID. Walk-ins are welcome during all operating hours.
