Under Ann Arbor City Council Resolution R-20-362 (September 2020), enforcement of laws prohibiting entheogenic plants and fungi is the lowest law-enforcement priority in Ann Arbor. State law has not changed — Michigan still classifies psilocybin under state controlled substances statutes — but the Ann Arbor policy is what allows MycoAndCo to operate at 2007 S State St. Always know your local laws and travel restrictions.
The interaction between SSRIs and psilocybin is not well studied and results are mixed. Some users report reduced effects, others report unpredictable reactions. Never combine psilocybin with lithium, MAOIs, tramadol, or tricyclic antidepressants — those combinations can trigger dangerous serotonergic reactions. Always consult your prescribing physician before microdosing.
Set (your mindset) and setting (your environment) are the two biggest predictors of a positive psilocybin experience. Take your dose only when you are emotionally steady, physically well-fed and hydrated, and in a comfortable indoor space with people you trust. Avoid full doses in unfamiliar environments or during stressful life events.
