The albino designation refers to leucism (reduced melanin pigmentation), not true genetic albinism. The mutation preserves Bluey Vuitton's signature deep blue bruising while removing most of the cap and stem pigmentation, producing pale ivory fruits that bruise an almost cobalt blue on contact.

The signature blue bruising is even more dramatic on the pale background, often visible as deep cobalt streaks within seconds of handling.
