Melmac x Penis Envy is a hybrid combining two strains from the same broader lineage — Melmac (itself a stabilization in the Penis Envy family) crossed with the original Penis Envy. Both parents trace to the Penis Envy line isolated and stabilized in the 1970s, so the cross is best understood as a re-concentration of that lineage rather than a true outcross. The result is a strain with PE-family traits at full expression.
Fruits inherit the Penis Envy family signature — dense, thick stems with small, undeveloped caps. Bruising is dramatic deep blue under handling. Cap color runs caramel to mahogany. Growth is slow and yields are modest, consistent with other PE descendants. Spore release is limited due to the suppressed cap structure.
The experience is heavy, visual, and slow-paced. Onset is sharp (25–35 minutes), peak around 90 minutes, total duration 4–6 hours. Visuals are vivid and saturated, the headspace is introspective and emotionally weighted, and the body load is pronounced.
