Bluey Vuitton magic mushrooms are one of the most striking Psilocybe cubensis strains we carry at MycoAndCo in Ann Arbor, and the 2024 Cultivar Category Psilocybin Cup winner at 17mg/g total tryptamines. Bluey is a Panama x Melmac PE-lineage cross created by Silly Cybin and released into the community around 2020 by Mr. Cobalt. It quickly earned a reputation for two things: above-average PE-family potency and the most dramatic blue bruising of any strain in modern circulation. Handle a fresh fruit and it bruises deep near-cobalt blue within minutes — visible evidence of high psilocin content oxidizing on contact with air.
Bluey Vuitton fruits are medium-sized with thick PE-family stems and caps that ripple and undulate at the edges as they mature. The dried product carries a pronounced earthy-mineral scent. The bruising is visibly heavier than what appears on Hillbilly or Golden Teacher, comparable to what shows on APE.
